The Work Place provides career and employment-related services/resources, at no charge, on behalf of the Government of Alberta. Computers with internet access, resume templates, copying/printing/faxing employment-related information, phone message service, assistance with resume preparation/updating, and job postings are some of the available resources. Eligible unemployed or underemployed job seekers can make an appointment with an Employment Consultant to receive individualized career and job search services, support, and guidance. Some services provided by the Employment Consultants are assisting with preparing/updating resumes, writing cover letters, completing online applications, interview coaching, acquiring networking skills, and job leads. On your first visit, you will be asked to complete a short, one-time registration form.
